The development of the Paris Rive Gauche district occupies a unique place in the Parisian urban context related to the scale and the ambition of its program, implemented since 1983 in order to balance the historical lack of equality between the West and the East parts of the city. This exhibition presents an overall account of this operation and shows the evolution of urban planning and management policies between the end of the 20th and the beginning of the 21st century.
