Dove Allouche. Le soleil sous la mer — Frac Auvergne/LaM
The images created by Dove Allouche are often inaccessible: images of the underwater confines that no man can physically reach, images of burnt forests, forever gone, underground spaces, forbidden areas. Designed around a double exhibition, at the Frac Auvergne and the LaM (Lille Métropole Museum of Modern Art), and a book, this project allows the public to discover nearly ten years of brilliantly conducted reflection on the questions of time and image.

Les images produites par Dove Allouche relèvent souvent de l’inaccessible : images des confins subaquatiques qu’aucun homme ne saurait atteindre physiquement, images de forêts carbonisées, à jamais disparues, de souterrains, de zones interdites. Construit autour d’une double exposition, au Frac Auvergne en collaboration avec le LaM (Lille Métropole Musée d’art moderne), et d’un livre, ce projet permet au public de découvrir près de dix années d’une réflexion brillamment menée sur les questions du temps et de l’image.
